Brand New Lorry pulled across me on a round-about

In terms of damage done by a truck (I hate the term "Lorry") , that is a light scratch.

Could have been a lot worse......

Doesnt llok all that bad, hopefully theyll sort the damage out quickly.

Maybe a little paint sketch of where you were etc may clear it up for some people. What happened to mirror, indicate, manover. The rules dont change for trucks.

Your wing mirror's broken, no wonder they hit you, you blatantly weren't aware of your surroundings

:D

What a pain, shouldn't take too long to get resolved though. Any witnesses at all?

I've seen this happen myself, I was in a queue, 2 cars from the roundabout in the left lane (all going left), the lorry in the right lane swings 'left' when entering the roundabout taking the front off the lead car in the left lane..

Lorry drivers are plucked from the same 'vat' as car drivers, some are total numpties, some are very good drivers, it's a bit hit and miss..

No as it was a motorway junction

I've never had to move away or watch out for anything special to do with lorries on motorway junctions, they're normall large enough, and the turns have a large radius. It's on small town roundabouts where I would give the lorries a berth. I'd point the finger at either the lorry driver or the OP if he had a chance to see it so close and didnt move.

As said by others it is certainly the truck drivers fault. Only question is if the lorry had already pulled out (thus blocking the roundabout) why had you not pulled out as well using the lorry as a shield?
