Parliamentary reform should be added.
The forcing of the members of parliament to vote for their party rather than own beliefs/constituent wishes kills the very idea of our Parliamentary democracy.

1) energy security, not green issue though, but by the nature of being secure that rules out fossil fuels.

This country's lack of (a decent) energy policy shocks me. Not one party (not even the Green party) have announced a good plan to tackle the UK fossil shortages.

Coal is now considered a "clean" source of energy.
The UK has an abundunt supply of coal.
But the government is not connecting the two together.:(

National debt, Afghanistan/foreign affairs, immigration, dodgy MPs, services... and the one you missed off, a repeal of the ridiculous Hunting Act. I'm voting Tory for a free vote on this alone. Oh and +1 for civil liberties. ;)

The national Debt isn't a major concern for me. What is is the price of transportation, whether that be rail or Petrol. ALso is the taxation issues that are raising their heads at the moment, along with cutting down on public workers and getting the hell out of Europe!

re hunting, lets be honest that is a minority issue

Yeah there's only several million of us.

but most want to keep the ban, well and actually enforce it

I can't see how adding it will tell us much as there are 2 entirely different points of view and unless both are added it shows nothing

feel free to start a thread to discuss that issue if you want, speakers's corner would prob be best

I meant several million people directly affected by, and seeking a repeal of, the hunting ban. But alas, you're right - for the majority it's not an election issue so let's leave it there. :)

That's the problem really; we're not organised enough. If all x million of us really DID turn up and march... No, wait. We already did that and the Met just kicked seven shades out of us, men and women alike. Looks like we're back to civil liberties so I'll just tick that. :p

Carry on. :D

National debt, services, foreign interference, green issues and civil liberties and student loans/top up fees (for over £3k i'm not receiving a great service).

The main issue for me has to be the economy, not only as in who can best lead a recovery, but also diversify & restructure it so as to maintain stability in the future.
