As you can see by the threads its just more of the ATI fanboys slagging off Nvidia.
Suprised Overclockers admins allow topics like this to get ruined by little boys:D

It's members like you coming in to the thread and derailing it, stop trolling and stay on topic, there has been no problems with fanboys or peps slagging of any company in this thread, posts like the above almost wanting to start a flame war.


As already been said, these forums always have an " official " thread when new cards come out, anyone can start it.

Please stay out of thread if you have nothing constructive and on topic to add, majority of posts are about the cards in the thread title, the fact the cards are released but still not available makes it very difficult for peps to post about their new fermi, and we have no fanboys, flaming or trolling until now, I won't be replying to you again.

And your sig breaches the max size permitted by the forum rules for sig size.

That's more in jest, I have problems with stuff like the below quote, if anything is going to kickoff a fanboy flame war this it. His post is baseless, as from what I can see there has been no " ATI fanboys slagging off " anyone.

Thought it was quite funny, even if I do say so myself:). If you have such a dysfunctional sense of humour that you object to a little light hearted banter, perhaps an internet forum isn't the best place for you! I'm certainly not trolling. Hell, I even have an Nvidia card!

As I said above, the majority here are neutral PC enthusiasts who are currently giving Nvidia a good slating, because frankly their performance right now warrants it. This isn't fanboy trolling. This forum isn't pro-Ati.

just incase anyone was wondering. I cancelled my order for tri sli 480s as i got made redundant (voluntary, as new positions would involve me taking a 25% pay cut and i want to move anyway etc). I then found on another site, a much nicer price, and queried them on stock, and they said it was orderd upon request etc.

Ended up ordering 3, for £1050, evga cards, instead of the asus ones for a total of 1350.
Have to wait longer (another 10 odd days according to evga/other shop) but saving the £300 means I can afford to live for longer lol. Also better brand and I wasnt going to use them all until i get EK blocks in a week or two anyway, so :)
Only problem I can forsee if that i am going on holiday on 23rd, then if i find a house to rent in iceland, then i'll be moving there so i wont get to use them much for AGES.


TL;DR
will get mine soon.
 
I have seen a few websites doing it for silly money, but I just dont trust any of them. It all looks too good to be true and I have never heard of any of these companies.

I am sticking with my ocuk order. :)
 
However, I should add that given his past performance, I do find it ever so slightly difficult to believe Raven's intentions in starting this thread were 100% genuine curiosity about 480/470s being received/reviewed ;)
 
my sister in-law will be getting me 2 of these from korea tomorrow and my wife will be collecting when she visits her in dubai next week.

The above post is not trolling or flaming anyone, it's in response to the 480 vantage score under LN2 posted on here earlier so is perfectly valid, it's not trying to encourage a fanboy flame-fest, they guy that keeps going on about ATI fanboys and slagging off Nvidia is.
