HD4870 vs GTS-250

Hiya quick one here, what do you guys think is better, a SAPPHIRE HD 4870 or a PNY XLR8 GTS-250? both cards are 512mb versions, I have an SLi board but don't plan on utilizing it, card would be driving a 1280x1024 panel and would replace a 512mb 7900GTO.

Oh the CPU is a Q9600 and the system has 4gb of Kingston DDR2 1066, board is an XFX with Nvidia 750i chipset

GTS250 is rebranded 9800GTX+, which is pretty much around the same performance and speed as 4850, which is slower than a 4870.

If you are only using a 1280x1024 monitor, I would suggest getting a 5750 512MB instead, since it is faster than GTS250 and 4850 by a little, consume less power, runs cooler (more overclock headroom) and has dx11 support.

They perform about the same. There are loads of reviews out there which bench mark the two cards.
