Thread title fail, I am disappointed in you Rotty.

A lot of those issues matter to me. I ticked all but two.

National Debt, Taxation and parliamentary reform are the most important for me. Voted for a few others but those are key for me.

Green issues and civil liberties :)

That's not to say I don't care about them, but they take a back seat in comparison to the rest.

I decided to limit myself to 4, after much debilitation with myself I picked:
National debt, transport, services, civil liberties

I see those things as what are most likely to have an impact on my life.

Wasting of money in red tape and pointless civil servant jobs. From what I've seen, only the Tories are planning to address this.
the first thing that needs doing is the ending of the ridiculous civil xervice final salary pensions, it's happening to the rest of us so they shouldn't be exempt

The civil service pension scheme has recently undergone revision, whether you think that the revisions are enough is up for debate of course. Although there is probably some merit to the argument that a decent pension and relative job security is an incentive over the (usually) higher pay with less job security in the private sector - the issues have to be balanced to some degree otherwise you're not as likely to get good candidates if there are no upsides.

personally I don't think they went anywhere near far enough

they need to be frozen with the exisiting amounts protected and the future payments into a defined contribution scheme, pretty much the same as is happening to most people

the pay differences need to be looked at, though with pay cuts and freezes in the private sector I doubt this is as significant as it was but some small concessions could be made

Immigration and crime but it appears the main 3 parties have no real policy on any of those issues - wonder who I will be voting for....

The national debt/economy must be the key to the next 5 years of government, without large rises in taxation or at the cost of maintaining our public services. This would require parlimentary/civil service reforms to make large cost savings.

I really don't think crime, immigration, Europe, etc are as much of an issue as the media/UKIP/BNP would like us to believe. This election will be won & lost on the economy & the budget defecit.
