Last.fm Question

About a week ago, I found a page on there that tells you the percentage that an artist makes up of your total scrobbles (----- listens to ----- 25% of the time, etc.) and how many plays you have compared with everyone else. I thought it came under top listeners but it doesn't seem to be that.

Any ideas?

Thanks, I'll probably use that actually, however the page I was talking about showed the top listeners, their plays and percentages for a certain artist. I just wanted to compare as I think I must be either 1st or 2nd for Feeder plays.

I never knew about last.fm till I searched for music that helps you sleep

Last.fm user myself, but does anyone else here miss Pandora? It seemed to hit the mark for me far more often than Last.fm's radio does.

Last.fm isn't really that great for actually listening to music. More for finding music, showing who you listen to and talking about music. There's the occasional free tracks and free album to listen to, but 99% of the tracks aren't listenable or only 30 second previews. Pandora and last.fm are totally different really.

I'm guessing you arn't aware of the Last.fm radio function then? It has rather a lot more than occasional tracks and albums, and it certainly doesn't play 30 sec previews!

I'm pretty sure it used to show this under the Listeners page on each artist. It doesn't seem to any more though.

i use the foo_lastfm_radio component for foobar. much better than faffing around on the website.

I haven't used the radio for about 2 years, which was mostly 30 second previews back then. I guess they've added a lot of tracks since then.

G-MAN, are you talking about an actual page or one of those image things you can put in your profile?

Edit - I think I know what you're talking about, this, though it seems they have changed it as it always used to show top listeners and what percentage of their plays were by that artist and it also showed the track they listened to most often.

I must admit today is the first time I've actually tried the Last.FM radio (usually I just use Last.FM for finding new music) and it is damn good!

Yeah, I think that must have been it. I haven't a clue why they've removed it.
