Halo 3(PC)

Why would you compare the two anyway, they're completely different games.

I'd like to see Halo 3 on PC, one of the most balanced games out there.

So Mario Kart can be compared to Gran Turismo then can it? They're both driving games after all. Not all FPS games are trying to do the same thing, therefore they can't be compared. It would be like comparing Moon and Star Wars.
 
it wont happen funnily enough i have just started playing halo 3 on the xbox360 and forgot how good it was!
and iv played halo and halo 2 on xbox and then went to pc and have to say i prefer the xbox versions which feel more polished.

Halflife is an arcade style shooter, so is Halo, neither introduce any real elements of realism in how they play. Mario kart is an arcade racing game, Gran Turismo is more sim like.

Half Life 2 has source physics based puzzles. Do you get that in Halo?

I'm not trying to get into a pc vs Xbox debate here btw, just asking about this staement 'tis all...

Mario Kart and Wipeout are both arcade racers, how often do you see them compared? Half Life and Halo are not similar enough to compare, they target different audiences and aim to do different things.

Theyre similar enough in terms of racing plus using weapons to gain an advantage in the race. You don't see them compared much as there really hasn't been a "new" wipeout game in some time. Far as i know the last wipeout was a download in 2k7 and it was just the original game re-released.

Last year, the expansion to WipeoutHD (which was 2008) but still, they are aimed at entirely different markets. They cannot be compared. I couldn't say Mario Kart is crap as it doesn't have a cool dance soundtrack like Wipeout.

you obviously dont know your stuff....
if your talking about wipeout hd , this is not the original game re-released, it is infact many aspects of pure/pulse that was on the psp redone to hd standard. it is effectively a totally different game tho in the way it plays.
next came the add on to this in the form of wipeout fury, which added completely new modes never seen before in any wipeout game and new tracks etc.

the wipeout hd/fury combo is amazing on ps3 and should not be understated.

anyway...this is about bloody halo! so why cant people stick to the topic instead of talking about racing games??? is it that hard?
