Thread needs more cuteness.

My two when they were a few weeks old.

Question: can you own a Slow Loris as a pet in the UK, and if so where can I get one right now?

You can actually yes, and funnily enough dont yet need a licence even though their venom is toxic.

Where you actually get one is another thing though, you'd need to get one from a UK breeder as international trade in them is banned here.

Are all cats nasty vicious little scratching biters, or is it just the ones I've come across?! Yes, cute when little, but when they realise that they can inflict heavy doses of pain on you, they take every opportunity to do so!

Not at all! My cats have never pulled their claws on anyone (not even each other) and will only nibble if you do something to really annoy them. I currently have a cat wrapped around my arm purring and kneading, something he insists on doing at least once a day by forcing himself onto my lap - very sweet :).

I love the slow loris videos, so so cute!

Yes. Their horrid viscious creatures

My cat never bit anyone ever, even when tickling his belly or otherwise totally trying to annoy him. But he would slap the snot out of you. I don't know he did it, but he had a method of bringing his paw back in a full wind-up, then snapping his wrist just as he was about to strike causing a little whip-like affect that hurt like hell.

When my husky was just a little pup, he made the mistake of getting his nose too close to kitty. Bootsie popped him in the nose and surprised him so much he jumped and rolled backwards over the coffee table. :D

edit: he used to hang out on the bar stool when my kids were smaller, they'd walk by him and he'd pop them on the top of the head, usually resulting in knocking the little guys to the floor.

And he loved hanging out on the chair under the dining table, hidden by the tablecloth. A doggy would walk by, he'd reach out and give them a good smacking, they'd jump startled and look around trying to figure out what happened. They never did discover him under there. :p

I miss that little bugger. :(

Just the ones you've met. Both my cats are loving little things.

I don't know how to embed videos but the cutest thing on Youtube is "Mocha and is first brocolli", if you don't smile at it you have a heart made of stone!

none of my cats do. one of them i reckon you could do anything possible too and hed never get his claws out or bite. the other has scratched me once and thats because i was holding her and a dog started running at us! the other cats in our street are mostly like this too. its pretty worrying that someone could easily just walk off with them actually :p

think weve only had one cat thats scratched people and thats because he was from the cpl and had been taken away from a home where they abused him :( had most his teeth missing and had had a fractured mouth from them kicking him :( , first few months he shredded us! after that then there was 10 or so years of no scratching
