I was there in 2002 to watch the late, great David Jeffries win and take the new lap record to 127.29mph. To have beaten that by 4mph is some feat. The phrase "big cajones" just doesn't seem enough.
Havent they made some track changes recently that, among other things, changed one slow corner to a fast sweeper, easily sticking a MPH or 2 onto the average speed?
