Hiring a rowing machine

By try I'm guessing you mean more than just the once?

Otherwise it'd be obvious to just have an induction at your local gym and have a play on there. Might work out cheaper to do this, or even join for a month depending on rates. Though having to get there etc etc

Seems like a good idea though, if you don't like it you'll save yourself a fair bit of cash.

Is there no 'trial' period or satisfaction return clause/offer?

Yes, more than once. Over the course of the month's rental I mean.

I've used one before and liked it, found it pretty demanding so want to see how I get on over a month.

Will check out other sellers for the trial period, ta.

That's a months gym membership at a premium chain gym. Surely that's a much better option?

You might find another peice of CV equipment you prefer?

Though I think a rower would be the peice I brought, if I were to ever buy one.

Imo the rower is one of, if not the best, CV workout someone can have (whilst using equipment as an aid). Big fan of circuits :)

HIIT on the rower is awesome

Provided you use correct form you should see yourself on the path to some pain/injury free achievements.

Great. What I wanted to hear really. Might go for a month's rental and then look in to a purchase if all goes well. Will also make sure my form is correct.

Thanks.

I've got a rowing machine (looks identical to the air rower on that site) and I don't particularly use it. If you're anywhere near Oxford and willing to collect I could give you a good price on it.

Dunno why you'd rent one for the house rather then getting a gym membership.

I would however buy one, and probably will when we move to a bigger house.
