Licence renewal

You drive 10 miles per week and pay all that money for MOT, tax, insurance etc. and then can't afford £24.50?

I am paying out a substantial amount of money to go to college and earn a part time wage plus living costs, not everybody on ocuk have wads of cash lying around.

Well don't drive until you get the licence renewed or sell the car if you don't have the money to run it. Simple really.

Same as if you needed a clutch ;)

a) i actually had the money for a clutch as it was done prior to me selling it
b) do i even have the car anymore ? it went because it was getting too expensive.
c) what relevance has that comment got in this thread ? you think your smart but your not. Go back to whatever hole you came out of.

I think not having the money for a unplanned breakage and not having twenty quid to renew your driving licence (you do get ten years notice!) is a bit different.

Had to send off my licence to renew the photo card a couple of weeks ago.
It cost me £20 plus £2 for postal order, £5 for photo at booth and £1 odd to send it recorded delivery.

I think it was quite relevant as i was merely pointing out you are hardly a paradigm of financial planning. I was not trying to be smart but an aggressive response is the hallmark of a muppet.

You missed my point. You evidently can't afford to run your car, and would you say you need it? you drive 10 miles a week

bit of a difference with having to use savings to pay for a £500 clutch replacement to not having £25 to pay to keep your driving license valid though isnt it ?

face it, of course you were trying to be smart, but instead look like a ****

Calm down, calm down, does someone have daddy issues or is it just that time of the month?

We're not talking about wads of cash we are talking about 20 quid every 10 years.

For context, this is £2 a year.

Or 16p a month.
