'Substantial franchise' returning as Xbox exclusive

Official Xbox Editor Jon Hicks has told CVG that the mag will next month reveal the return of a "substantial franchise" - as an Xbox exclusive.

The Next Month page of the latest issue of UK magazine says a 'gaming classic' is set to return, Hicks told us: "It's a very substantial franchise and it's going to be a very big surprise. A good one, though - we're really looking forward to it."

A 'very big surprise'? We likey. But what could it be, do you reckon?

Would be nice, loved Panzer Dragoon Saga, but I wouldn't really say that it was a "substantial franchise".

'Very big surprise' makes me think of Shenmue purely because it would probably be one of the biggest shock announcements the gaming industry will see regarding an old series coming back.

That and it was pretty substantial, them games were way ahead of their times and are considered classics by many.

2009 if you count the PS3 version.

Not getting my hopes up over it being anything special tbh, but balders gate, shenmue or time splitters would all be awesome (although I would love it to be legacy of kain, but no chance in hell of that)
