I bought it yesterday and i'm not regretting it, it's good fun.

Be warned though there's a lot of things that need tinkering with to make the game run better, if you install it and have problems give me a shout and i can list all of the things i needed to do.
 
Tiny update to OcUK BFBC2 Server. Updated the rules and server banner (thanks pieplough).

If you're actually asking that question in a BC2 thread the only answer is that you already want it and want someone other than yourself to blame for spending money :D

All EA games come with a soul clause so i wouldn't worry about it. At least its not Modern Warfare 2... Activision put a soul, arm and leg clause in that.

er without sounding like too much of a fan boy... how can you get bored of this game that quickly (unless youre not an fps fan in which case why buy it in the first place)
theres soo many more ways to play this then any other fps out there. either you have no imagination, you suck a lot (i can imagine that gettign boring) or again you dont like the genre...

with magnum ammo the fact that 90% of people are slightly wounded mean they die in 1 glancing shot.


The first m24 if just as good as the gol tbh, more dmg, better scope and only a little less accurate.

M95 is a better choice when there's an annoying heli flying about too.

That said, sniping is teh suck :p
 
I must have a large neon sign above my head when playing this game, it seems like everytime a skirmish breaks out, they target me first out of my squad (who are standing next to/infront of/behind me) I inflict a fair amount of damage before being killed then someone in the squad finishes the job off and gets the kill.

I'm then either revived to meet the same fate or respawn with the same outcome. :(

EDIT: Also, I think probably too much L4D has ruined my iron sight targetting skills as I couldn't hit the side of a barn while standing infront of it if my life depended on it....which in most cases it actually does and the barn wins everytime. :)

L4D does that, I still try to melee with the RMB in this game, even though I've not played L4D for weeks. This probably accounts for my low dogtag count :S
