Maybe, but then again the UK was the first to recieve demo versions, so I can't see that we would get a "delayed launch". It isn't on any other section of the ASUS website other than the "Global" section - doesn't mean the UK is going to get it late. After all it has only just been put up there, it still isn't on the ROG site either

Because i want to and i can afford it,np,i would rather do that than shell out my money on an overated 470/480gtx....i have an i7 920 and 295gtx in sli(quad) so my system is very fast and dx11 is just a fad at the moment and is not really needed as an upgrade for me wether ati or nvidia,its gonna cost me a lot to get the same performance so im not buying either until i see a REAL reason to thats BENIFICIAL to me and when i do buy it will be nvidia not ati.

So why are you buying a 980X and an R3E? You won't see a "REAL" difference with that either lol

If you think that DX11 is a fad, then the R3E is actually an even bigger fad

You wont see any difference, the only reason I'm upgrading is because I want the 3 slot width per graphics card and for modding purposes. If you think the R3E is going to make much difference, then do know that it wont hardly do anything better than a Gigabyte UD3 does, its just basically a bling bling board for bragging rights.

Yes ur right,i said in another thread that i wasnt going to buy a Ramp 3,but i thought what the hell may as well,beings as i have the cash lying around like.....when i bought my 920(december 2008) not many people had them,even in 2009 not that many...now there the standard so im gonna go for something bigger hence the 980,i may not buy the ramp 3 as the ramp 2 is a great board but im deffo getting 980x.
ill post some pics when i get it.

You could wait for the cheaper hex cores later on in the year, they'll be just as good when overclocked

Does it really matter?Im buying it because i can.Im also going to lapp it and invalidate my warranty...there...something else you can use against me.
