MG 6 released soon! Success at last for MG?

Well, as I'm sure you know it won't be long until the new MG6 goes on sale over here.

Some debate over it's looks, personally I think it looks pretty good at the front... the back I'm not too keen on

Word over at MG-Rover.org is that it'll be on the streets by the back end of summer!

I didn't know, and it looks totally unexciting I'm afraid. Like a cross between a Rover 75 and Vauxhall Insignia with some chinese influence that makes it look cheaper than it probably will be.

What about the engine? I don't know much about them at all.

Side profile looks like a Prius and the interior looks like it's been stolen from a 3 Series. But no doubt badly built.

I agree, to an extent. Unless they come up with something new soon, the MG6 won't be enough!

I think a remake of the 180 would go down well, the KV6 engine was hella fun to drive and reliable too.

Tiff Needell reffered to it as the best FWD car he had ever driven, so it can't be that bad

the 180 was hardly a common car on the road was it.
