McDonalds Monopoly Mayfair eBay fraud...

Without reading rest of thread...
Why is it that whenever Mcdonalds do this Monopoly game, people immediately lose all common sense?

Why would someone sell a Mayfair ticket on Ebay? It would be utterly retarded...

Take it for what it is, you're not going to win £500,000. Just enjoy your free porridge/coffee/burger, etc...

More to the point, how stupid can the 36 people bidding on it be?

This. If people aren't going to do any sort of investigation, let them lose their money.
If it looks far too insanely good to be true, as in, would never happen... It is.

Secondly why is this monopoly thing attracting so much OCUK attention ??
ive seen so many gullible people on here talkign about it like they could actually win.
Do you people not understand the odds ?

I know!
I can't understand if it's a running joke, or if people actually think they're in with a good chance... :|

This - honestly... If you're going to spend that much on something, you'd have to be crazy not to seriously check it out - and it's clearly written on the bottom "Unofficial Ticket" ¬_¬'

I reported it as fraudulent behaviour. It's really stupid, especially as the bids are over £1000 now.

I reported too, granted I could leave some idiot to blow over a grand on something like this but I don't really see the point in wasting Paypal, CC and Ebays time with it.

Sellers like that make it harder for honest sellers.

Maybe he does actually have it? Seems unfiar to report him if it may actually be genuine.
Gullible much!

It isn't genuine (though you do have to look closely to spot it), and even if it was it would be no use anyway as it's 'used'. Pretty obvious really. Another report just in case they didn't already have enough. :)

Might be too late for these reports as it says they will investigate the listing within 24-48 hours and it ends in 15 :(. Hopefully the winning bidder will have 0 feedback and not pay.

Yeah, I also reported it, not fair to the mug that would be paying over a grand for a useless fake.

Letting people get off with utter stupidity does not make it "fair". Quite the opposite actually.

:o Look the Mayfair ticket, only a few grand? I'll take it! Oh look, the cure for cancer and a goose that lays golden eggs! I'll have that aswell.

If people can't restrain themselves and think about what they are doing, maybe they deserve to be out a few (thousand) pounds.

It's alright, we're in Britain, no-one has to take responsiblity for their actions.
Why bother taking care of your money? Someone else will fix everything.
