Nope. I don't drink,smoke, have any expensive hobbies except pc, and have zero debts at 40 years of age. Plus I recently got laid off after 20 years in the same job. So back to college for next 2 years. I'd like to take the opportunity to upgrade while I have a bit of cash.
 
I hope OcUK will stop the Asus Ares. Asus are being tightlipped about the release of this card though and I wonder how many will even be made.
 
I dunno why people are expecting a triple slot, that sample model even though its probably not full scale production version is only a Double slot card as per the picture assuming the picture is valid and accurate ...

And production models will only get smaller and take up less space methinks... not lengthwise ofcourse but they will minimise the cooling to a resonable level, for sure...

It looks to be the same design of cooler as what Arctic Cooling developed for the 4870X2. That is a 3 slot device.

You may well be right i would have just expected 3 slats for the back of the chassis if those fans were going to extend beyond the height of two ... OP tell us how tall it is !! :P
