screw SSD's, figure out a way of storing and running windows entirely off the RAM...

Its a Dell PE R710, it's not unheard of for a server to be kitted out with that much RAM. Although if you bought it from Dell that would have cost a fortune.

What will it be used for? Web or DB server? Something more interesting?
