"Injunction" on my car :(

I didn't say you treat them disrespectfully, I said the police do not deserve respect. Which means you treat them like you would everyone else, but don't go out of your way to help them (or in my case I never bother helping them period)

*Sigh*
Excellent attitude.

Some people are destined to be searched down with rubber gloves.
A little respect and if ever you are pulled you'll be on your way within a matter of minutes.

Being difficult hurts only one person - you.
You think that by rebelling you;re being clever, that somehow you are going to make a difference.
The police have seen it all before and will just take their time with you.

So - does anyone in your world deserve any respect?

I'm sorry but the police do have a right to investigate in this occasion.
Investigate, yes. Punish? I don't think so... :(

When their investigation did not produce the result they were after then I don't see how they had the right to mark my car.

They're not punishing you, they are keeping a closer eye. Your friends have brought you under scrutiny.
I see what you mean, but even if it is just a method for them to keep watch on me surely they can't put me down as "check if he is stoned" when I wasn't under the influence

I care about my car, give it a thorough clean inside every other weekend, what's wrong with smoking? I smoke fags in my car, windows down, ash out the window and I don't see that as not caring for my car

It is a filthy disgusting process that slowly wrecks any confined space you do it in.

You let your mates smoke weed in your car?

No sympathy.

Chances are those cops would put intelligence on your car, after pulling it and it stinking of weed.

Enjoy!

Yes, because smoking weed is a terrible crime and should be punished as such.

Get a grip, its only smoking a bit of weed.

As the driver you are responsible for your passengers.

What would have happened if they'd starting doing stupid stuff, like people do when they are drunk/on weed? Opening a door, leaning through and grabbing the steering wheel/handbrake?

The cops were right to do what they did and I hope you have learned a valuable lesson about your responsibilities as a driver.

Who does that while smoking weed? Not once have my mates opened a door, or grabbed anything while smoking weed, because that would be idiotic?

He hasn't been punished  Regardless of what your opinion on the criminality of smoking weed it is still an illegal substance.

Unfortunately weed smokers are more likely to commit other crimes, the OP has now been recognised as being associated with this sort of individual.

Yes, of course we are, instead of bouncing about the streets at kicking out time absolutely steaming causing havoc, we sit about in a nice warm house, making jokes, eating food and watching comedy on the TV like dangerous criminals.

Where are you pulling this "more likely to commit other crimes" from?

I makes no difference what your personal opinion on weed is. Its against the law

The police, as far as I can see, where quite good to you, even drove your car home for you!

Its the people who are breaking more minor laws who tend to also be doing much more serious crimes, serious traffic crimes are often caught because of stuff like what you where suspected of

Police deserve respect, they are attempting to keep the peace and make the country a safe place to live, if you think they are doing a bad job, fine, do something to make it better.

I've got to disagree with you, while I disapprove of taking illegal drugs in general, I have plenty of friends who do smoke weed, and none of them are any more likely to commit other crimes than you or I. While I'm sure some do commit other crimes, that's true about anyone. You're just making a completely incorrect generalisation.

There are a number of articles relating drug use to criminal activity, google brings up plenty to cite.

Why act like that? I never understand these people who are delibarately obstructive. If you hate the police that badly, just smile, don't be annoying and they'll let you go. Once you're safely back in your car, if you really want to, you can utter ****s under your breath.

You sound like someone who would start something after being pulled for a brake light and irritate the officers that badly that they would begin looking much much deeper for an offence.

Just stop acting like the tough guy we know you are and make your own life easier without being one of these "I KNOW MY RIGHTS!!!1111!ONE!" people...

I do not allow weed in my car regardless of who it is. I have nothing whatsoever against anyone who smokes it, you can do what you like. But I don't allow it in my car for this exact reason, I don't want to tangle with the police.

If I find that a passenger has some in my car, "It goes out the window, or you go out the door." Doesn't matter how good a friend, doesn't matter where we are. If the police were ever to find some in my car due to a passenger, I will not take a caution if they're on their limit.

My friends all know this, none of them have a problem with it, even those who smoke the stuff.

Either the OP was smoking it too and doesn't want to admit it here, or he's a mug.

As far as i see it, you might not have joined in with the joint smoking, but you associate with people who do.

To get this weed, your friends must have associated with people like drug dealers.

Drug dealers associate with very undesirables.

Your friends may be friends with a drug dealer? So if you are driving the car to go somewhere with your mates, it's entirely possible that your friends may have bought along their friend (Mr. D Dealer) as well.
