"Injunction" on my car :(

Wouldn't worry mate. My mate had his plates knicked two times now and its been 'put on the system' yet hes driven past numerous ANPR vans and been in front of many traffic cars. Never once pulled.

He's not destined to be pulled over regularly because a friend smoked weed, he's destined to be regularly pulled over because he chose to let a friend smoke weed in his car..... there's a subtle, but significant difference
I still don't see the problem? Should the police randomly knock on his front door because his friend once smoked weed there, too?

He isn't a police officer, it's not his job to moan about drugs laws... Just because some laws are there doesn't mean YOU have to enforce them on your mates...

As has been said before, you're responsible for what people do in your car, from wearing a seatbelt to taking drugs.

You missed what is being discussed.
Someone said that weed smokers are more likely to commit other crimes, which is not true but is not exclusive to weed either (hence the alcohol and chavs comment)

It can't be both untrue and not exclusive, make up your mind.

Smoking is filthy
Smoking weed is filthy and illegal
Smoking weed and drinking in a car is moronic.
Moaning about police treatment after the above and being found dumping your rubbish into someone else skip is laughable.

You are not legally responsible for ensuring people in your car aged 14 or over wear a seatbelt. The reason is that someone at ages 14 is deemed to be able to take responsibility for themselves in this case.
Smoking weed is filthy and illegal
How so? It's illegal (at the moment), but filthy? I'm not so sure.

Not really, why would you want to drive around in a car with people who are smoking anyway?!
That's personal preference. I wouldn't mind at all what my mates were doing in the back of my car. Smoking weed, drinking, having sex?

I wouldn't care, because my friends let me drink, smoke and **** in their cars.

We get it ok, you don't like smoking. Nor do i, but i am not so incredibly precious over my car that i wouldn't let friends smoke in it.

Agree 100%, how you can let your "friends" do something that is illegal in your car and then complain when you get in trouble for it.

Totally laughable.

I am, as a none smoker I can smell smoke a mile off, why would I want my car to smell of stale smoke?

Thats exactly it - yes, he doesnt have to stop his friends smoking weed in the car, but he shouldnt bitch about it if the police pick on him because his car is associated with drug use

If people want to smoke fags in their car it's up to them, I don't have an issue with that but don't let people smoke in my car or house. If they want to smoke dope which rightly or wrongly is illegal then they should expect to get pulled if caught or if their car is full of ganja gas when the copper pulls you for sitting by a skip at 4am in the morning, which one can see as somewhat suspicious.
