TV Election debates - how are they doing?

I am amazed Gordon didn't give Nick a reach around - how many times did he brown nose him?

Nick Clegg was the clear winner for me, Gordon is just full of it and David is an untrustworthy, spin merchant - Blair in a blue tie.

It was pretty obvious that Browns' plan was to get all pally with Nick Clegg and try to isolate Cameron.

Also I like how they justified Trident as a crucial "deterrent" yet won't let other countries (Iran) have them for the same reason.

Iran cannot be trusted with nuclear weapons when a nutcase is in charge and wants to "wipe israel of the map"

Im sure the israelis would have something to say about that.

Clegg came out of that looking very good, Brown put in a solid enough performance and Cameron just looked a fool. If I hear 'I met someone' or 'First off I'd like to thank you blah blah blah' I will track him down and stab him in the face.

I think it's clear that ITV are pushing the Tories though, what with Cameron seemingly having the last word on everything and being in the middle and getting the end comment.

Here's hoping to a hung parliament, as I can't stand the thought that Cameron will represent our country for 4 years.

Daft question.
I think round here we have a Labour candidate in parliament for us. What happens if no one around here goes to vote... would that 'current' candidate lose their seat?

Anyone got some links I can skool myself on this?

The first three wise monkey show is over.

Cameron – see no evil
Clegg - hear no evil
Gordo - speak no evil

..... and the winner is?

See next week's episode. ;)

Definitely not enough to influence my vote, but I was seriously impressed by Clegg as I haven't been a fan of the man.

You clearly are inexperienced with salesman bluff.

yeah i'm not getting any of you.

you just saying he is a good salesman?

Cameron dodged everything
Gordon brushed over everything repeating a few words
Clegg had answers

And i thought i was more tory...

Anyone else notice none of them were wearing a wedding ring? The press has an interest in their wifes and they are being used on the election campain, you would have thought they would have wore them.

Not sure what people are seeing in Clegg, he seemed to repeat himself far too often and never got to the point. Not very confident either.

Sorry for being unclear, my point was Nick is telling you/people what they *want* to hear. It doesn't matter if it's BS, unworkable or silly. People are falling for one of the oldest tricks in the book, an art perfected by used car salesmen (whom I have had the displeasure of working with). Clegg's answers were hyperbole.
