I'm not stupid for supporting nick clegg and putting my vote to where I want to put it. We all could say the same thing about you and whoever your going to vote.

Also known as stfu
I didn't say voting for LibDem was stupid. I said voting for them based on a staged TV debate (as indicated by the polls) is ******* stupid.

That was decided a just charge by a UK Court.

I find it quite interesting that you seem to refuse to accept that others have taken a liking to the Liberals. I appreciate you know more about each parties policies than some here but you appear to be very short with anyone considering voting against yourself.

The whole thing is a shambles. Each party is not really any better than the other.

Lib dems are being open and honest but lack experience to uphold their promises.
Labour are promising to fix things but it's questionable after the damage they have already done to the country.
Conservatives are just pointing the finger and trying to pass off policies that are really no different or better than Labour's.

At this rate I almost wish it to be a hung parliament.

Lib Dems are the ones i am going to vote for. It will be a good to put fresh people with fresh ideas in government. Completely sick of Labour and Tories speel. Everytime they are in charge the country ends up with big problems.

Lets give the Lib Dems a chance to see if they can turn this country around.

What did Clegg even do that's made him the 'victor' of this debate? Brown was a pathetic smiling moron, that's to be expected. But I thought Cameron did absolutely fine, certainly just as well as Clegg.

Don't be stupid Dolph, the whole point of Democracy is to give you choice. If all parties stood for exactly the same things then what would be the point?

Clegg himself leans to the libertarian centre, but many of the party (especially those who moved over from Labour) lean to the authoritarian left. This is clear when he discusses his views, as opposed to the policies of his party. That's not stupid, you can share enough views to co-exist without everyone in a party thinking exactly the same thing.

I like Clegg, I don't like his party's manifesto at the moment, due to the way it has shifted in the last 10 or so years.

I don't think I have suggested whom I'm voting for. If I have, I'm undecided so it is moot.

However, I can not, and will not, give the light of day to parties with such outrageous policies as Green and the BNP. Lib Dems and UKIP are in another category with policies I just can't understand. They make *no* sense and risk destroying this country.

I apologise if I am overly short (Steve Jobs school of correspondence), but I struggle to tête-à-tête with seriously illogical arguments.

I can only assume, from my peers and itv.com feed, that is is something to do with Cameron's Etonian etc. background. That is, jealousy.

Well at least we seem to agree to an extent :)

I know some of what the Liberals propose are closer to pipe dreams than reality but I agree with more of what they say and propose than what the other 2 do.

I've said it in the other thread as well but I can't stand the thought of Labour or Conservatives running our country again at the moment.

Have people really not got over that yet? How pathetic. I'm sure there must have been a point in this country's history where having a PM with a first rate education was an advantage, not a disadvantage

There is a lot to like about Clegg, it's the policies coming from the left of his party that are the problem.
That's not what I'd call a problem to be honest, more a reason to vote for them.

A Labour/Conservative right wing nightmare? No thank you.

Lost in the High Court.
Lost in the appeals Court.
Won in the Supreme Court.

There was some talk of foul play too. That the final decision was reached to prevent more bank collapses. How true that is, who knows, but the amount they'd have to pay back in that event would be billions, it's estimated.

I was having this discussion with my mother earlier. I would be proud for Cameron - clearly educated and a good orator - to stand toe to toe with other world leaders.

The law is indeed an ass, but it's irrelevent. It's pointless to debate something that has passed the courts scrutiny.

Forced wealth redistribution and punishment, along with authoritarian laws regarding forcing people to think 'like liberals should' is not my idea of fun either.

I remember when the liberals were actually liberal. I voted for them then...

Voting for Libdems just because they are new and different is an utterly ridiculous motivation.

People voting for libdems - do you have any inkling, even a clue as to their manifesto and monumental disaster it will have on us, our economy, our ability to defend ourselves and our position on the world stage???

... but they're not the "posh" guy so therefore are perfect. Or some such *******.

I think he'd make an ass of himself actually. He might be educated but he's already shown signs of weakness under the public spotlight (not just tonight) and I don't think he'd make a good ambassador for our nation. Thats not to say Brown or Clegg would be better though.

In all honesty, I don't think I'd want any of them to represent my country on a global scale but I believe more in the Liberals policies than I do the others.

I think he'd be great actually. Not as good as Boris, but that's for a different thread.
