E46 Alpina Saloon

I had an Alpina Coupe and it was fantastic!

Defo drive it, the noise and power is addictive!
 
are you going through every car ever invented or what?

Alpinas are wonderful but ones in budget are certainly getting on a bit now. Its a rare 11 year old performance car.
 
Plate is worth a few quid, that makes it cheaper still.

I wasn't looking at buying it, I posted for the exact reason above.
 
I really do dislike the E46 Alpina, I think it just looks all wrong and the bodytat is just stuck on without any real regard for the aesthetics.

The E36 Alpina looks smooth, and the E90 Alpina looks awesomely aggressive IMO, but the E46 is just wrong.

Perhaps when you post, you could be a bit more descriptive about what you're actually asking?

We've had "enlighten me on this marque (skoda)" and now "what do you make of this?" about an Alpina. It's pretty common knowledge that you're looking for a car, so what were people meant to assume?
 
Well, I was perfectly descriptive. I asked what people made of it, thats exactly what I wanted to know.

If I was asking whether I should buy it, I would have said so.
 
^^ why would you want peoples opinions on an 11 year old £5k car with no intent of purchase and just pure interest?

I wouldnt touch it for £5k, the dealer doesnt even seem to express an interest in showing what model it is.
