No, if you ping 16 to most servers you play on, you type in 16, if you ping them at 35 then type in 35. If it's a mix, try 25 or something.

I'm trying to find my ping so that I can give this hit box mod a go but it isn't showing in the server browser. There is just a '-' sign where the ping should be. My in game pings are usually around 115-125 but that must be wrong as I ping at around 20 in other online games.

I guess i really should run the game in admin mode so i can actually see the frickin pings. Ingame is worthless when all i know is that a ping over 200 is bad. Or does the ingame ping add that 100ms compensation onto it automatically, so really you just take 100 off whatever it says?

Which would make sense given what hunders just said.

Don't think it's working for me, Pumping nearly a full clip into people and they get me first shot !

A German server i play on (Same hops as BF2 server) i ping 40 ~ 50 so, I went for 45.

I gave it a go and it does seem better to be honest. I set mine to a ping of 25.

Awesome, changed that setting and I got like 12/1 with sniper.... until I got stabbed and shot lots

The 1 death was quite fun, was a simultaneous +60 marksmen headshot, I shot, got the kill, then the guys bullet hit me in the face aswell not the normal both died at same time, there was a noticeable delay
