The Official Splinter Cell Conviction thread

what, so £25 for Splinter Cell conviction and a years supply of FHM?

is their some clause meaning it's hard to cancel or something?
FHM is really easy to cancel actually, I got Assassins Creed from one such deal when it was first release, and currently in a years subscription for about £6 that I've already cancelled. Really easy to contact via email and on their site, and really helpful.

Just got my copy now, first time i ordered from the purple, happy it came a day early :D
also came with some weird torch..pointless but oh well
will start playing later on today

Mine with the torch came too but seems like my torch doesnt work rofl:p

Ahh nevermind it will make a good key ring holder alongside my FM3 keyring.

Is that how much it's going to be at Asda or are we talking staff discount? The reviews have been decent, so at £29 why the hell not?

Edit: Yeah I've just read on HUKD. Tempting...

I've never traded in a game before but I'm pondering over the thought of trading Heavy Rain in for Splinter Cell. Does anyone have any idea on how much I could be looking at getting for it from the main high street game stores?

Anyone on this forum wanna do co-op some time? No one i know is getting this game

gt is stoke1863

Yes mate. I will be online tomorrow night from about 7 if you are about ? I just tried to play online, 2 people disconnected and one kid invited me to his pre-pubescent Yankee party. I quickly left.

So. How are people finding it ?

Im on about level 7 I think. Really enjoying it so far. There are a few twists and turns which freshens things up. Looking forward to some coop action tonight.

Me and my bro are getting this game to do co-op together my questions are:
1. Should we complete the co-op campaign first as its a prequel to the single player campaign.

2. single player and co-op campaign can they be both played without messing up your saves For example have seperate saves?

Hmm. Im not too sure mate. I think the single player shows references towards the multi player aspect (although i wasn't paying any attention). I really dont know about your second question, Im sat on the dashboard waiting for some people to come online and play. Seems they all have lives to live...

CeX will give you £14 cash or £21 trade in. They sell Conviction of £42.

Just played the first level on Co-op with Cobra. Was good fun.

Sorry about the connection at the end my headset crackles when I move the wire and don't think you heard me say thanks and bye lol.

Deffo up for a game tomorrow night.

Had some good coop tonight with ROB75. So funny seeing the worst assassins in the world try their hand at stealth. Looking forward to some more coop tomorrow night.

Anyone know if I can pick up the £59.99 special edition exclusive (to a well known gaming chain) in their store? Or is it online only?

No worries. Its weird though, im sure the quality of chat has decreased some what over the years. It doesn't seem to be half as good as the old XBL.

Will be about tonight mate, should be around 9 ish.

Really wasn't feeling this game at all last night. Surprissed no-one seems that bothered by the frame rate! At times on the first co-op campaign level it was dropping to unplayable levels.

Me and my co-op buddy basically hated the way the screen goes black when you enter shadows. Night vision was about 100 times better than this idea. I'm tempted to try and take it back but might give it more of a chance over the weekend.
