Going to use the system only for gaming on a 32inch full hd monitor
I am aware of the release of the amd hexcore soon (I will wait untill release maybe prices drop but will think that and amd x6 system will be beyond my budget and i wont even make use of all the six cores)

Thanks for your help :)

What's the difference between 2 and 3?

P.s an extra £2 will get you a samsung F3.

Buy the i7, overclocked they beat the i5, at stock there a little slower.

I would suggest going for system3. The CPU is marginally faster than the i5 750,s, but the extra money is really being spent on the superior platform (X58) and more RAM. Considering the i7 920 currently costs almost the same as the i5 750 - then this system is a real winner.

I would suggest a couple of changes though:
Switch the GPU to a single 5850 and add a second on in Crossfire when you feel you need the speed.
Change the RAM to this. Its just as fast as the stuff you picked, £10 cheaper and the heatsinks won't get in the way of a CPU cooler.
I would also suggest switching the HDD to this.
Finally, I would suggest spending a bit more on the PSU. This PSU is higher quality than the OCZ and will allow for crossfire 5850s in the future.

Edit: Typo on line 1 - meant to say "System 1" - the i7 one.

Spec 3 is a AMD system! Are you drunk.

That corsair psu isn't modular.

Buy the far superior Antec new truepower 650.

Sorry, that was just a typo - I meant Spec 1 - as the remainder of my post would support.

I agree that the antec is the superior PSU, but I suggested the Corsair based on price and solid functionality, the OP didn't specify that he needed a modular one so I didn't go for one. Obviously, if the OP has the money - go for the Antec, its a great bit of kit.

Stick with spec one, maybe drop down to this cheaper ram, and get a 5870.

OCZ Obsidian 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600Mhz Triple Channel Kit (OCZ3OB1600LV6GK) £119.98

Asus ATI Radeon HD 5870 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
£319.99

I7 all the way. The i5 prices have rocketed towards the X58 platform, so its the best solution I'd say for not that much more :)

+ Amd, doesn't really compete atm :)
