HPI check and driveaway insurance

I'm seeing a car tomorrow night. I'd like to be covered by insurance so that I can drive the car away if we come to a deal. I've HPI checked cars in the past but not used driveaway insurance.

Can I do the check tomorrow and get immediate cover or do I need to wait for a cover note to arrive?

Does it cover theft as well as driving? TPFT or comprehensive?

Also please recommend me an HPI check with insurance.

The covernote is sent within ten minutes of confirming quote (Filling out webpage and then calling to confirm identity etc)

The cover is comprehensive.
