Did you send it to Dr Vanos? Or get the seals from Beisan and DIY it? How much was it, if you don't mind me asking?
Was thinking about having this done, but am apprehensive about spending £300 on something where i may not get any kind of result Vs spending £300 on a proper detail/having the suspension refreshed where i know i'll see a result.

No, I said people only do it when they are too chuffed about the age of the car.
I was super chuffed to have bought a 4.5 year old BMW aged 22 at Uni. I make no secret of this

Nice baiting - better than looking like a brand new shopping trolley i guess.
I pass a 530i Sport every morning on my way to work, in some kind of grey, and i think it looks utterly brilliant. In the photos, i never thought the 5 Sports looked anything really special, but they look really really smart IRL.
I got the seals from Beisan and paid an indy to do it. With the CCV as well, including parts (All genuine from BMW) it came to about £450.
I personally think it made a difference. Obviously it might be placebo, but it certainly feels great to me. Feels more responsive than the Z4 now when below 3000rpm.
Thank God for that. I knew he'd see the light eventually.

Oh and if that was the case I bet he'd have been able to get that elusive M5 that he obviously wants SO bad.
