Huh? I'm saying you click the class and it uses the last loadout by default, and has a selection of other ones you've saved. Not too different from the class system of MW really but with different ones for each class, saves it from getting too cluttered.

I'm saying it would be more useful/quicker if it remembered your loadout for each class AND weapon, so it remembers for example what perks you use if you choose Assault + Shotgun, or Recon + Shotgun. How often do you change perks with the same class + weapon combo? I know I pretty much use the same perks with each possible combination anyway.

That's what's coming in R7, read the patch notes.

anyone noticed when you protecting mcom stations, the attackers seem invicible to what you throw at them, and it seems they arm it in a second

Meh i change occasionally, but it wouldn't be much different to having additional loadouts saved, only with the ability to use more than 1 for each weapon, not that its an issue.

The first part is yes.

Played on a US server this morning for a bit, man it was impossible to aim bullets, they just disappeared. For me, the netcode of beta CS has never been replicated, that was by far the best.

netcode for CS was amazing. It was built around 56k being fast, you could play perfectly fine with a 300+ ping :D Then some LPB got themselves some decent internet and we got raped. Now companies assume everyone can easily get 50ms ping and base their netcode around that fact.

Going back to that mouse smoothing turret fix a few pages ago. I wanted to give it a try but got so lost hunting down all the lines of code.

Thankfully some kind soul has made a program that does it all for you , which you can find here

Ive tried it out and it works fine. Tanks feel more like the BF2 tanks now, not tried it on boats yet.

I did it manually, and it's brilliant that i can turn a turret quickly now.

The BFBC2 netcode is based on a ping of 100ms, which is ludicrous. I get 16 on our server, which meant I couldn't hit squat before doing the hit-reg tweak.

You'd expect they'd have design a dynamic netcode, that at least adjusts for the server you're joining on the fly!

What I find strange about games like this is not that the community can find solutions and tweaks so much quicker then the developers, like this netcode tweak (haven't actually tried it yet, and not really sure how to go about it (assume my ping is ~30-50 and see?), but that the developers don't embrace the community solutions.

Counter-Strike did, and look at its success.

You base your ping on the server ping you go on, say the OcUK one is 47, a server ping of 45 will be perfect and your shots will always hit properly.
