i love my lachesis, but now the feet are coming off and dust is getting under them... and occassionaly it really flips out and loses reg badly

our server is being patched at 8am tomorrows, no idea when the client is released though lol. Oh and the servers are not being issued new GUIDS so favs "should" be ok unless DICE mess with peoples ini files. Either way you can re add them after the event if you know them (or have them backed up).

Just got twitter text message, Character/Weapon Skin DLC is out for the 360 for 440 MS points or using a Dr Pepper Code (USA)

Got a mate whose been saving Dr Pepper packets/bottles for this, hopefully get to use them for the PC.

They are coming, just they are focus'ing on R7 and R10 at the moment, and you won't need Dr. pepper codes to buy them, it can be done via EA store for us Europeans.

Seems a bit pointless to me. What do you all think?

I was wondering just what the DLC was... Money is money and seemingly thats all they care about or they wouldn't of released such a lame DLC. Makes you wonder how they find the time to create **** like that when theres so much that needs fixing with the game

Wonder how long it is till they release a 'Someone Elses Problem Device' DLC...

Pff, fair point. But its still a lame DLC that clearly offers an advantage (however small for the moment) to people who bought it stands. It'll only be so long till they start offering different camo options for the Recon if you pay for it. May be the xbox atm but...

Lets not forget in battlefield 2 people who bought the expansions got entire classes and tools that people that didn't couldn't have. This sort of stuff has been around for a long time in the Battlefield franchise and is something to expect when you fork out for the 'base' title.

Expansions is 1 thing but tiny DLCs? Oh well, i guess its just increasing the profit margin from people daft enough to buy an FPS on the Xbox Expansions usually at least have a decent amount of content in them for the money.

The price is reflected in the content provided. A bunch of DLC will cost the same (and probably result in the same advantages) as the single expansion, surely they're just as bad, just one comes in small chunks and one's a huge heap?
