New 2010 iPhone Rumours

Im pretty sure Apple like to keep those divisions in the dark as much as possible to prevent preconceptions and to promote creativity (bleurgh)...

I just like grasping to the idea that what weve seen isnt all that and in June we will see something perhaps different - if I dont no doubt Ill just get passe regards the new iPhone by June. The hardware spec for me if the battery life doesnt suffer even more is far more than I was really expecting...

ps3ud0

I like it, looks far better than the 3G/S, less shiny, plasticy feel to it. Good balance between matte and gloss.

Bravo Apple, another great design!

Glad I'm out of contract on my current iPhone 3G and didn't sign up to a new deal for a 3GS :) Good things come to those who wait.

And this is the problem.

A. It's cost them millions in advertising revenue.

B. It's taken the press attention away from the ipad :D

C. O2, and afew others, are having a push on iphones, particularly reconditioned models which they're trying to clear..

Well I for one hate the sharp edges and flat back. Can't help thinking why would they have gone to the trouble of disguising a case like they did. Wouldn't it have been easier and safer to just put the newer components in a 3gs case in the first place?

I love them pics. I hope it is to be the next gen iPhone, I'm purchasing on release day what ever happens, but if it happens to be that and wiht them features i'll be a very happy bunny.

What, and drill a hole for the larger back camera, for the middle camera and saw a bit off for the micro SD slot?

It just wouldn't have worked.

It is definitely a fake!

You just have to laugh at all of the people who instantly shout 'fake!' as if they 100% know and then get proven to have been completely wrong. I mean, how would you possibly know whether it was fake or not?...

Anyway, first impressions was that I didn't like it. However when it's side by side with a 3GS, it's so much nicer.

Why? They seem pretty similar to Engadget.

They've got zero journalistic integrity. They constantly induldge in yellow journalism and sensationalism. They pretend to be experts in subjects they know nothing about and then delete comments that point out their errors. They show the most incredible bias possible and then deny being biased. Oh, and they buy stolen property.

They're arrogant jerks.

Engadget has a few writers who are just as bad but Engadget are much better overall. Apple didn't even send Gizmodo an iPad to review.

Rant over. :p

Well i think it looks very nice and much smarter than the current iphone.....
I also believe it is real as:
http://gizmodo.com/5520479/a-letter-apple-wants-its-secret-iphone-back
Now i dont think Apple would do this if it wasnt theirs so i believe its a tester...which i reckon it is because:http://gizmodo.com/5520438/how-apple-lost-the-next-iphone?skyline=true&s=i the guy who found it mentions the camera failed 3 times so it was as many others have said just a tester and Gray was simply roadtesting it....
I hope they keep the design similar though in the final one and dont radically change it because someone found this one....

Plus the engadget news feed is a lot clearer to read than the staggered rubbish of gizmodo's site :D

(sry just had to add my 2 pence)

No, somthing of value that was found was then used and sold to make money, that then as soon as money is involed handling stolen goods. I hope they do get sommin brought against them, but just for being that stoopid.

The funniest thing is if the phone turns out to be different, would make a lot of people and giz look like right mullets.

To be fair, they bought lost property and returned it upon request.

exactly

the guy who found it in the bar rang every apple number but nobody belived him or wanted to care. He got given a ticket which was then filed under "B" for bin and ignored.

To be fair "ive got your brand new engineering sample iphone 4" would probably have got a big  from everybody at apple thinking it was another jerk with a chinese knock off.

how would they look stupid ? they've verified that its real, not that this is exactly what the new iphone 4 will look like. They could have 4 of these all in different designs. We just dont know. What we do know is that the rumoured feature set of front facing video camera, uprated screen, flash and better res camera are all very likely to happen, and the rumours that these were the features apple were considering are completely true, as whoever leaked it leaked what features the engineering samples had !

state law is if you find something its theft, or something stupid?

If you find something somebody has lost in a public area you have highest claim to it, after the original owner of course.

Strictly speaking the person who found it should have handed it in to the Police, who would have then kept it for 90 days before returning it if unclaimed.

But then he tried to give it back and they ignored him, so it's their own fault :p

is that according to our law or state law of where the item was lost?
