No idea as they state no reason, usually just says things like "so and so has declined or snubbed your offer". <_<

max wages i can go for most coaches is 3.6k, doesnt allow me to go any over, iirc only for pako ayesteran was the wages bigger but even then he also rejected :(

really sucks as the transfer budget is so small, so was hoping at least i could get the players trained up and playing well, something which worked wonders back in fm08, so tempted to cheat with budget lol
 
My players are getting injured loads :(

Have I missed something about setting the training or physio or whatever or do I just have bad luck? :p
 
Well I was left absolutely gutted tonight, over the weekend I started a league with Arsenal, only brought in a couple of players, Fazio and Mileskiy (sp) and won the league pretty easily. Next season didn't go so well, was getting bad results, failed to get through Champs league group and knocked out of FA Cup early on! I resigned, looked for a new challenge!

Everton offered me a contract, they were second (funnily enough Moyes went to Arsenal) so we swapped jobs :D

This was about Christmas time, I had a great start with Everton, they still had the same squad as from the start, I brought in Sakho and they had Barriello on loan and were doing well. Man City were 1st place and had spent millions, I kept up with them right to the final game. I was 3 points behind with a superior GD and left who to play...?

Man City...away :(

All I needed was a win, a massive ask but hey you never know.

ps heres a quote from dodo himself on man utd having first dibbs on him until he turns 21

I officially HATE dodo! He was all right as one of my star young defenders I persuaded to St. Mary's in my first prem season. Came 5th and he wanted to leave to a bigger club! (no one else thought this and even macheda was proud of the league position).

Had to sell him from 7m :( (only 1m profit), got bridge as a replacement though which has made europe easier

Jesus thats unlucky! Who did watford beat to have a new record low in the prem???

Barriello is amazing for the amount hes transfer listed, I got him for all of 2.3m and his miles better than Bojinov (the only player i have that sort of compares)

Update on my game, started the 2016/17 season with an already strong team and trying to keep it a younger squad I decided to bring in some more into my first team and still keep it around 25 in my first team.

Main transfers;

In:

Ruben Herrera - £23m

Eden Hazard - Loan £5.25m
Moussa Sissoko - Loan £4.5m
Marco Verratti - £5m

Team is doing well still, and keeping a pretty young team. The oldest players I have are Cristiano Ronaldo at 32, and Lionel Messi at 29 with Micah Richards not far behind at 28. Not sure who will replace Richards as I'd want him to be english, and with Messi I can sell now IF I really wanted to, but that's only because I have some strength on the left wing and can carry on using Ronaldo on the right wing.

Not sure what is up with Ronaldo, since joining he just ALWAYS scores..he's on 36 starts with 7 sub apps this season with 37 goals. He's scored over 40 every season since joining. He's only used as a winger!

Next season i'll probably aim to bring in a couple of better squad players, specifically english where I can. My main aim is to start running on constant profits, my wages are pretty high with it at about £2.5m/week, so will cut that down.

I don't normally play with big teams, it's been quite fun though, especially trying to get a team to work together just buying big names. If i did it again i'd probably not just give massive wages to people though..

I've recently done just this. The wages, and players, at City are just daft. It hurts my soul having to pay Kolo and Addy over 100k a week but there is no way they would leave, if I tried to sell them, without asking for silly compensation.

I did manage to get rid of Bellamy, Lescott and SWP, though. Again, they asked for compensation, but six months in the reserves soon sorted that. Bellamy was spitting feathers :D. I finally shipped him off to Ajax where their squad immediately voiced concerns over his signing. True to form, rather than keep his mouth shut and get on with it, he gobbed off saying that a player of his calibre demands more respect. Nob.

The players I have bought I managed to get on fairly sensible wages; even Chiellini is on much less than Kolo. Despite this, the board still throw money at me; I have over £140m transfer and nearly £600k p/w ( :eek: ) in wages to spend. And, we made a loss of £60m last season. Bonkers.

Yeah I got rid of them pretty sharpish. It took a few loans for Lescott iirc, though.

09/10:
SWP - Loan £1.5m - Agreed Fee
Bellamy - Loan £2.2m
Viera - Free (2010 Mutual Termination)

10/11:
SWP - £11m
Adebayour - £17m
Jo - £8m
Bellamy - Loan £1.5m
Bridge - £7.5m
Lescott - £775k Loan

11/12:
Toure - £7.5m
Bellamy - Loan £300k - Agreed Fee
Robinho - Free (no-one would pay his wages - Mutual Termination)

12/13:
Bellamy - £1.7m
Lescott - £12.75m

Took bloody ages, but it worked in the end.

My wages are high because of the 'super' regens, and of course Messi and Ronaldo (who both took wage cuts..);

Thinking of selling Herrera for a profit (Perez is about as good, and AML not ML), and possibly Azpilicueta and possibly looking into selling one of my two super regens that play MC/DM which is Makarenko and Bebey. I should be able to cut quite a few wages down if i try though, especially in my reserves which I have already agreed 12 transfers out, lol. Dodo wants a new challenge/more games, so may replace with a young english player too.
