Impreza P1 on DW

That's the craziest sounding dump valve I've ever heard :eek:, beats the faint "tshhhh" sound mine makes :)

Compressor surge? Although from what I've read over the years DVs are only really a necessity at high BHP levels, which this P1 seems to have.

I may be totally wrong of course :o
 
I have a recirc and mine makes that noise: it could be air being dumped back into the short intake and forcing its way out of the inlet filter. I can't see a big DV in the pics, so if he has one, it's well hidden.

I assumed "DW" stood for Driftworks. Was expecting a much more interesting video than someone going quickly in a straight line. :(

On detailingworld, you're lucky if the car gets to go in a straight line for more than an inch without being cleaned
