iPhone 4G: is this it?

no, they're overpriced and rubbish

Oh, I've got a Samsung i8910HD it's a excellent phone just that few people of heard of it lol. Got it 4 the camera, HD video, then web and e-mail. I find myself using it more and more for web and e-mail now a days.

I've got a 64Gb iPod touch and i think that that is 1 really wicked device, only had it under a week and I love it. Girlfriend has had a touch since last valentines and I've always secretly liked hers lol

Personally for me Iphone + HD lens = total winner !

Well it's not overpriced, but it's definately not the best at the moment!

If few people have heard of it then it sells on quality and useability rather than marketing.;)

TBH if you are looking at getting a smartphone in the near future the Desire and x10 are the two options you should be looking at, or wait 3 months and see what Apple actually bring to the table.

you think so? currently, for the price of a Desire on contract you can only get a 3G or a bottom-spec refurb 3GS, which is STILL inferior to the desire, spec-wise.

sounds overpriced to me...

Gizmodo posts show that Apple have claimed the hardware in writing.

The only thing left to puzzle is whether this was a very carefully planned leak or a genuine drunken moment by an unfortunate Apple developer.

I think it looks ok. Looks closer to a phone that HTC would manufacture rather than one of the more sleeker looking apple products of past.

I think this is probably a good thing as my 1G iPod Touch back is scratched to hell, and this model looks more robust in those pictures in terms of the finish.

Chances are, that Apple being the masters of marketing that they are, have done it on purpose, but they won't admit to it.

Yay, another i8910 owner on here..!!

Nothing has yet tempted me away from mine (got a Touch HD though as well which I love) but I do really like the look of this 4G and if the camera is up to more than the other then I could be investing.

I know yer, were a rare breed - looks like were thinking along the same lines lol.

You done much with your i8910HD ?

That's the contract that is overpriced, not the phone.

The iphone contracts do appear overpriced but they do tend to have more free minutes etc

They do?

100 mins for a 30 a month contract 18 month? Neither the 3GS or 3G are free at that. The iphone has overpriced special tariffs. To be fair, the demand is there, so the mobile operators may as well get as much money as they can.

edit:

Orange are slightly better offering 150 mins.

Yer, there expensive.

Don't laught but Tesco seem to have some good deals on the iPhone atm, including a 12 month contract.

I remember the days where all contract were 12 months and 24 months was unheard off !

Yep. But phones are more expensive now. Can't possibly give £400 phones away on 12 month contracts without large monthly payments.

Yer but give people to option to pay for the phone to get it on a 12 month, especially with the iPhone as there is a new one around every year or so. o2 did offer early upgrade from the original iPhone to the iPhone 3G but i dont this they offered this with the iPhone 3GS, who wants to wait a year for the new thing ?
