Bought these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270550648214&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Which was delivered yesterday faulty. Messaged the **** who has sold them me who clearly would have known these was faulty before listing them.

They are ignoring the message and by looking at there negative feedback im gunna guess they'll carry on ignoring it. So what is the best thing to do? Dispute through Ebay or Paypal? Im new to both so pretty clueless on how it all works.

Message i sent them which i think is very reasonable:

"This item is faulty... The right ear phone does not work. Im going to take a wild guess that you already knew about this but forgot to add it to the description.

I wont leave bad feedback. Ill return it and i would like my full money back including the money it costs to return it.

Thanks

Ryan"

Can't stand people playing with me money.....

Thanks in advance.

Might sound stupid, but have you turned the volume up on the right ear piece? lol im sure they have controllers on each ear.

Haha you had me thinking "Please no".

But no they haven't, they only have the volume on the right side. The left side works fine, the right side is completely dead. Tried everything, PS3,MBP,Desktop PC, 2 TV's, new batterys and other plug sockets.

ah right lol, i remember my dad had a pair of these and for some random reason i really thought they had one on each ear lol! ah well :p

Does this sound reasonable? Putting it in PayPal item dispute description.

Thanks.

Ill repeat what i have sent over Ebay.

"Dear samanth1972,

This item is faulty... The right ear phone does not work. Im going to take a wild guess that you already knew about this but forgot to add it to the description.

I wont leave bad feedback. Ill return it and i would like my full money back including the money it costs to return it.

Sorry if you haven't got round to reading this message on Ebay yet. But i am annoyed at the fact you have sent off a faulty item off after describing it as "in perfect condition".

Item was clearly faulty before being sent off as well. The box is still in very good condition and the headphone's are very well protected from knocks or bangs from the inner protective packaging.

I will request a refund of £27.10 for now and if you want the item back i would like a further £4 for postage costs.

Thanks.

Ryan.

Go to paypal and open a dispute and claim your money back.

Then once you have received your money, contact the seller saying you will return the item, still if you dont get a reply, then keep them.

Thanks for the help mate. Sent off the dispute, will give them a few days to reply, if not ill take the dispute further so Paypal deals with it.

I sent a dispute with Paypal once over some cup holders for my car. They arrived broken and blatantly used (said it was brand new on desc).. Paypal emailed me saying to send the item back with a tracking no. and i will get a refund. But i had to pay for postage back? Erm no thanks, i left him bad feedback and kept the item

Paypal are useless 9 times out of 10.

I'd give it a week. If they haven't been in touch, go through paypal to get your money back. My brother went through a similar problem at christmas, managed to get all fo his money back though.

file a paypal dispute then immidetly turn it into a claim. Youll be asked the send the item back via recireded after which youll getyour money back

Alright guys.

Paypal ended up giving me my money back last week. Come back to my Ebay today and the seller and opened a unpaid item dispute.....

What do i do now? I can't find any options other than to pay... which im not going to do obviously.

Thanks.

Problem is Ebay/paypal insist you send it back at your expense. You keeping the item entitles them to file an unpaid item dispute. Sucks doesn't it?

Unless your bothered you need 3 unpaid item disputes to be barred from Ebay so either post it back or accept the strike.

It went in bin a long time ago.. So will have to take the strike lol.

does it do nothing else to your account? I have 100% feedback and dont want that being buggered up.

Thanks

i would have still sent it back with a note in large writing with the word ****! on it.
Think u can guess what word i mean.

Doesn't do anything else to your account. An UID is kept behind the scenes so nothing to do with feedback. Basically if you get three of them within what bay deem to be close proximity to each other they boot you from the place. I have one from years ago when i left myself logged in at school and a classmate bought a car on it.

Im confused. You originally said that you had bought the item and they were faulty and that paypal had refunded your money. How can the seller file a dispute when paypal would have nulled the purchase due to them being broken?
