Hi guys!

I am looking to buy a new or ex-hire tail suit, I have a few weeks so ordering and waiting online isn't the end if the world.

My budget is ... about 300, cheaper the better though. My main concern is fitting as I wear 34 short slimfit and I can't find anywhere doing near that size online.

US websites are fine too ;-) as long as they follow the same sizing conventions. Thanks in advanced.

Not sure I would buy any form of suit sight unseen online. Why not ask in some hire shops if they have any to sell (i bought ex hire) and then have a tailor alter if needed.

Sorry forgot to say I wouldn't mind London shops if anyone can suggest! Sounds like I don't like leaving my house!

From the title I thought it was for fancy dress. I blame SEGA.

Just check the yellow pages and phone up some dress hire shops. You really need to go in and check the fitting.

Hardly thread material I would have said.

Having bought a Tux recently, new off the peg morning suits tend to cost upwards of £250. I assume there are as many different brands as there are with a normal Tux (Remus, Boss, Conran etc.). This will normally include trousers, but not the waistcoat.

Off the peg never fits me properly, so I went custom made, roughly doubles the price. I have no idea on ex-hire pricing.

This was my first thought, and I can't be the only one:

which makes me think, what kind of tit decides wearing one of those is a good idea.

edit: apart from children of course...
