Tried out the knifing on a empty server today , I was just stood there and listened to the other guy trying to knife me in the back, he had about 8 to 10 goes too , but as soon as I turned to face him , dead in one swipe :eek::confused:

reminds me of the rapid fire scrip for the engineer's pistol in TF2 - it basically gave the engi an SMG to go with his shotty!

IIRC, Valve hardcoded the fire time in order to prevent it :)
 
This is really getting silly now, Game is dead on it feet and it could have been epic !

Every patch adds more problems than solutions and its obvious the game needed more work before release, Theres only so much patches can do and the EA forums already have bugs that are flagged as unfixable :(

Source code was not good enough on servers or game side, we are now seeing the effects of the PC beta which finished 3 weeks before final release

Its only going to be remembered for the wrong reasons now

hardly dead is it? and you know what the game is EPIC, it is unique and brings a breath of fresh air into the dull same old fps market. it has its flaws as with every game, but u put them aside an enjoy the game for what it is, which i do and enjoy the experience of loading into bf every single time :)
 
MY NEW PET PEEVE:

As a sniper, infiltrate enemy lines on rush, only for a squad member to spawn of me, stand next to me with a assault rifle and give away my position after all the hard work.

Use your common sense, no wonder people lock squads.

That is all.

if your going to sit in the enemy base spawn raping, you deserve it, and dont tell me you was about to arm the mcoms, as snipers dont usually bother, just working on there kd

If you don't want people to spawn on you then don't join a squad. :o

as above really, make your own sneaky sniper base raper squad and lock it

Spend money on a server m8 then watch it get less and less populated with every new "update" or "fix" its a joke, our stats prove its gone drastically down hill after each update with less people playing or being able to play.

At the start we didnt have to come on here and ask people to help get servers going, they were full for 20 hours a day without intervention, R8 put the nail in the coffin and its never been the same since,

All im saying is instead of being a long term great FPS, a la CSS, its going be be a flash in the pan in comparison, im just gutted we paid for 3 month sub instead of 1! It had the potential

Problem also lies with EA commissioning too many servers and there's not enough players to keep most more than half full unless you use a place like this to get going

I had no intention of doing that at all, maybe you should stop inferring from it to suit your argument?

Either way I'm not going to argue with you as the point has been made.

How do you reckon this would run on a Core 2 Duo 2.33GHz, GTS 250, 2GB Ram, Win Xp and a 22" Monitor. For a friend. He doesnt want to play everything on low etc and have crap fps. He says he can drop the resolution on his monitor if needed.
