I can do an X2 240 @ 3.6 in about 2 hours once I been back to work and spent some time with the missus, should be about 30% quicker for X3 and 50% than X4. It does somewhere around 21secs iirc

My WPi result's at 4.2GHz - NOTE my Vcore is at 1.024v due to using Dynamic Vcore(DVID) in the BIOS, my Vcore at 100%Load is 1.312v

965BE all at stock took 11.623 secs.

I would post a screenshot, but I can't be bothered. I might well do if I ever get round to overclocking again. :P

Hmm interesting, everyone I've spoken to have said that the Q9550 is faster than a 965BE but I never believed it. I reckon If I was running at 3.8ghz I might just beat that. :P

I'm gonna favourite this thread to remind to get stuck in again when I have time.

Seriously though wouldn't compare again my overclocking skills though, also you have better ram, not sure how that affects the results :confused:

965BE comes out on top quite a few times.
 
My overclocking skills aren't all that either, I only ever managed to get 3.8ghz stable and I've no idea what memory timings mean or when people talk about latencys and stuff...

Looks like they're pretty evenly matched. I doubt I'll bother overclocking it again really. I worked out last time I saw an increase in speed of 12%. Not really worth going from stock settings to the limit then. :P

At this benchmark yes. The bad thing is that it took \amd t get competitve with Core 2. Had Phenom never existed and replaced by Phenom II AMD would have been in a much better position.

I'm sure I could get more out of it with a better board this one doesnt like anything above 270FSB, I'm gunna have a bash at 3.7 stable today.
