Free Sky+ HD Box for Existing Customers

thats good, i already have a hd box but no harm in having another lol.

Hmmm, not quite so sure it works that way. It's only if you 'upgrade' to HD so if you are already an HD customer I doubt they'd send you another, without taking on 'another' HD package. It is dependent on you taking out the £10/mth sub.

I can't seem to see an option for self install, it shows the £30 setup which is ridiculous for someone to attach 2 cables and plug it into the phone line.

Everyone goes £30 is a lot for someone to plug cables in... for us it required a new dish, two new lines into the house as the old one was nackered plus setting up. This is going from normal sky not sky + though. To me that's worth it.

Maybe they should only charge if a new dish is required?

Free Sky+HD box when you join Sky TV with the HD Pack and pay for set-up (£30 for standard set up, free if joining online)

Yep :) But the OP is saying that existing customers can get the HD box free, no installation fee if signing up for a year.

On my dads account when he puts the HD+ box into his basket it automatically adds multiroom and deducts the install fee. If he does the upgrade to HD+ he gets charged the install fee.

I think we'll have to ring them up and see if they can drop the £30.

we just ordered it, wont let you do it online says to phone them, we did and it is indeed free just extra 10 squid a month. happy days.
