The cheap ones are rubbish...you'd be better doing it by hand, and it doesn't take long and looks pretty good once you get to grips with it

Ive used one. It was poor. Probably because it was cheap.

Just learn how to riffle shuffle properly. All it takes is practice.

Do it by hand, it just takes some time to get it right.

One I had was rubbish. Made a damn racket too, spend the dosh on a decent round timer (assuming your playing poker) with a nice big LCD screen adds a bit of tension when people start running low on chips

The cheap ones aren't too bad just noisy. But you're right, it's better to shuffle by hand. Get some nice plastic cards, much easier to shuffle and deal with than the plastic-coated cardboard ones.
