that is impressive - a little bonkers, not sure i'd be happy with the random box section reinforcement but thats got a pretty damn good :D to $ ratio

Almost like one of those funny drag cars with a factory body bolted onto some nutz chassis/engine.

Why would it not make it on the road in this country, we have some of the best modification/kit car laws of all the countries.

I think it will still pass the IVA (used to be SVA until the EU took over and made us change it) test (as done by VOSA)
 
bit like the Nascars

space frame race car chassis with a body resembling a road car stuck on top. Obviously a subaru isnt a space frame race car but you get the idea..
 
The best bit is that everyone who sees it probably thinks it's just some chav idiot who's put a bonnet scoop on a Civic.

If you read the Yank Subaru forums it's funny, most common people don't realise the scoop is functional - and some of the old school muscle crowd thing it's ram air
