Wish i had BF1942 or is it 1943?

There's both :p

1942: PC (& Mac) FPS game from 2002
1943: Xbox\PS3 2009 Online Shooter. PC: June 2010.

I have 1942 (Complete) but yet to install and have a play). I also have 1943 for the 360 - that's good fun. :D and I like the M1 on that too.

Anyone got any ideas as to how to improve my online connectivity? I get the "Connection has been lost" message alomst every game I play, I can hardly play through a single game without it crashing back to the menu screen. It is REALLY starting to annoy me now.

Its Virgin and it is a Thomson router. I have been reading something about TCP timeout settings or something that may help?

I also had similar problems with Operation Flashpoint 2, couldn't finish a game. You think TCP timeout could be the issue? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Ok, this seems like what the problem could be then. I will look for it tonight and see if this is the case. Cheers for your input.

Could this also be linked to a similar problem I have with NAT connection issues with CoH?

Bingo! I had this issue as well until I turned off the uPnP in the settings. Never been disconnected since. Only thing is, it still hasn't fixed the 'getting killed a lot' problem I seem to have....might ring my ISP and see if they can fix it for me :D

Thanks guys, I shall try this when I get home. This definately seems to be the problem. I shall look forwards to a full game tonight then! I even lost an Ace Pin because of this! I was well gutted.

When I search for servers the list is tiny, and all my favourites i.e sas beer drinkers, OcUK, gtfo gaming etc are all greyed out.

Have I missed an update or sommat?

Yeah was working 100% a few days ago.

Yes there was a client update on Tuesday. (Remember to run the updater as Administrator on Vista or win7)

Who is Gurusan?

I seem to be playing with him quite a lot recently in my squad/team and having a good time :)

Just a thumbs up buddy.
