Wish i had BF1942 or is it 1943?
There's both

1942: PC (& Mac) FPS game from 2002
1943: Xbox\PS3 2009 Online Shooter. PC: June 2010.
I have 1942 (Complete) but yet to install and have a play). I also have 1943 for the 360 - that's good fun.

Wish i had BF1942 or is it 1943?
If Steam have it or had it, i'd buy it.
Anyone got any ideas as to how to improve my online connectivity? I get the "Connection has been lost" message alomst every game I play, I can hardly play through a single game without it crashing back to the menu screen. It is REALLY starting to annoy me now.

Bingo! I had this issue as well until I turned off the uPnP in the settings. Never been disconnected since. Only thing is, it still hasn't fixed the 'getting killed a lot' problem I seem to have....might ring my ISP and see if they can fix it for me![]()
Will do, i downloaded vent last night for pvp co-ordination in Star Wars Galaxies, prefer Teamspeak though.
Yeah so did i but over time i've realised vent is far better!
When I search for servers the list is tiny, and all my favourites i.e sas beer drinkers, OcUK, gtfo gaming etc are all greyed out.
Have I missed an update or sommat?
Yeah was working 100% a few days ago.
just register for BF Heroes then play a round, then register for BC2 veteran. That gets you veteran status and the m1. BF2 also if you have that.
Its Virgin and it is a Thomson router. I have been reading something about TCP timeout settings or something that may help?
I also had similar problems with Operation Flashpoint 2, couldn't finish a game. You think TCP timeout could be the issue? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
