How sickened and sad does this make you feel

As for the story, what a way to live and die. :( As above, I can only pray he is at peace now. RIP fella, they can't hurt you any more.

He confirmed to officers this was true, but told them he did not want to pursue a complaint because "it would make it worse for me in the long run".
Det Ch Insp Jon Humphries of Bedfordshire Police said he believed nothing more could have been done by the authorities to save him, adding that "I think all did their best at the time".

WHAT?!?

If someone gives the answer, "it would make it worse for me in the long run" that should sound all kinds of warning bells to the Police!

Sounds to me like they seriously let this chap down, just one reason I have little to no faith in the UK police/justice system.

.......

he did not deserve that...

its just wrong and sick, and they don't deserve to walk this earth, at least justice has been served i guess

Bring back death penalties for the people who admit crimes.
Only people who admit crimes.

I think I m going to agree with that, they keep moaning the jails are too full anyway, this will solve the problem

No one would admit to them then...

Indeed. Also the police would start beating people up to get confessions. Or guys would start confessing to stuff so their wives (who actually did it) don't go to prison. Or because the person who does it says that if they don't confess they'll get their kids. Also some people hate pressure put on them so much they'll confess to any old thing to make the interview stop.

Confessionals have lots of problems. For the same kinds of reasons torture isn't a very good technique for extracting information ..

oh no i cant go to the pub this week guys, cuz the taxman took my hard earned money to pay for putting these pyschos in prison instead of removing them permanently from society,

to anyone that thinks the death penalty is too severe for people like this, then just imagine that poor guy was your brother/son/dad/boyfriend etc then i bet youd change your tune

we havent evovled for thousands of years to still not know the difference between right and wrong

That is one of the worst things I have ever heard.

Rot in prison, scum.

The sad thing is that they will not "rot" in prison. They will have a comfortable bed, 3 meals a day, TV, PS3, Blu-Ray and all the other comforts that this overly politically correct country thinks that even murderers deserve.

I couldn't read the lot, what a damn shame a family can treat on of its own life that.

All he did was love them. Jesus man. :(
