New rig for gaming but whats what here

I have a 6000+ and a X1900XT rig presently that I have plaed all HL2 all episodes on, COD 4 and it played them well. I also play CM DiRT 2 which it also plays well enough but I mainly only play BF2 (ever since it came out) but I thought about the new BF and hopefully in 2011 Bf3.

So what spec of rig do I need to play these newly released and soon to be relased games on my 1680x1050 22" monitor?

What gaming specs to do you lot have ?

What's your budget? You can get a pretty decent upgrade if you go I5/5850 route, it's just a matter of cost

if you wanted to save money, you could buy a cheap duel core and mobo, OC it and then get a 5850 and a new PSU

This, if i had waited the extra month and a bit, i would have gotten the i5.
