I bought a Wacom tablet some years back, it's an American model GD-0608-R, I wouldn't mind using it problem is I've lost the pen and the power adapter (would have been an American one anyway)..so now I've just got this tablet and I can't use it!...is it possible to get a pen for this thing? can I plug a normal 12v DC adapter into it?? Any ideas?

thanks.

best bet would be to contact Wacom? I would imagine you could get those spares with some effort.

I have a strong feeling they are going to say something like "Well it's an american model and you are in the UK, so..."....I was just wondering about getting a USB to Serial converter, but not sure how that will play out as you need to plug the power adapter (American 12 v dc) into the serial connector.

I to have a nice A4 Wacom tablet but it only has a com port connection and of course not many mobos have that now days. I purchased a USB to com port cable thingy but no drivers work with it. Thats on my Win7 64 or my Vista 32.
Seems such a waste not being able to do anything with it.
