I haven't sold my 205 XS without a interior

I haven't sold my 205 GTI without a functional cylinder head

I haven't sold my E30 316i BMW with a defective rear suspension setup and faulty driveshafts

But this did not stop me from buying a Twin Turbocharged, 280BHP Toyota Soarer!

This one in fact: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1644180.htm

I paid £1050 and then had the most relaxing drive through central London I could ever imagine :).

At that age and power i'd be worrying about the turbo's. How much does it cost if the turbo's were to need replacing?

Old cars with twin turbo chargers make me nervous, that's part of the reason i didn't get an S4.

£700 to have them reconditioned, although I'd probably use it as an excuse to bolt a single on there (despite me being 150% happy with it's current performance). Yes, this is a massive amount of money relative to the car's cost, but I'm not a **** who thinks just because he got the car for a grand he'll be able to run it on a shoestring budget.

I'm lucky in the way that my car seems to be the only soarer in the country that hasn't been modified. A Standard exhaust supposedly helps to preserve the turbos lifespan tenfold.

The only thing I'm disappointed in is the spec. The Only options this one has is the gash wood trim, rear wiper and sunroof. I don't even have ABS!

Not mint by a long shot, needs polishing, touching up and general tidying, but remember that it is an 18 year old car kids!

*I Know, the plates are Gash. Hopefully parts department will be able to make me a replacement set tomorrow*.

I'm still really enjoying it :).

Mine is an 18 year old car and I can see my reflection in it :)

So can I :)

The problems are parking dings, scratches, etc that are picked up other nearly two decades of usage. I'm not going to get anal sorting everything because that is not really my style, but I do have a fair bit to sort out.

Does it have two different front headlights due to a crash?

The headlights are the same, but being a set of cheap aftermarket replacements the driver's side one doesn't seem to be sealed properly as has fogged up with condensation :(

Funnily enough, We have a similar problem with the standard headlights on Continental GT Bentleys at work.
