No you're not -- at all.Get them to post it as a gift and your sorted.
As in if the courier realises the full value of what you order. You can get sellers to mark items as a lower value and as a gift but itlf they get lost/damaged in the post you'll only get back the value stated.
When buying overseas take the price paid and add a third on for simple calculation of taxes/customs and courier customs handling fees

not true
In my experience yes. But depends on the supplier and how well they fill in the customs label. Goes without saying if the parcel goes missing then you are caught with your trousers down but that is the risk you take -- of course.
lol what?
Right....
Depending on the postal company it comes through in the UK, if you are caught and have to pay taxes and extra duty etc
1) The items will be held at the depot until you pay
or
2) They will come to you with the items and give you a bill to pay before handing them over
I've had both of them happen to me.
If you refuse delivery and get them sent back to the US I'm going to guess that who ever you bought them for will charge you for the delivery back to them and also a restocking fee.
Maybe ask them to mark down the items, different description, faulty / spare part goods something like that. Stating items as gifts does not work as much these days. And I would not buy an Intel i7 980x off EBay!!
Courier will be Fed-ex,have u ordered from overseas before?
