Suppose it is but cant be arsed to search for servers plus i have had a crap day my cabriolet is still dead after all the money i have thrown at it but my fault for buying a mk3 escort :p

And i have a massive headache not my night :D

Plus i dont get bored only when there is no one to play against so walk around aimlessly :)
 
Damn the morons on this game make me rage :mad:. Just finished playing, four times I arm the m-com and four times it gets defused, as apparently, not one of the morons sitting on the hills can actually aim and hit the guy doing it. I might hang up my assault kit soon and join em, I guess if you stare at the m-com through a scope long enough, it'll arm and explode itself.

On a brighter note, got to rank 42 now, only another couple of million till 50 :o

I agree, i've noticed less people in my Xfire and actually in the game are playing BC2 now, either way, i'll still try and find some fun when i get round to playing it again, i haven't played it for 2 weeks now and that's because i've been playing the first Half-Life again and PvPing on SWG.
 
I feel happier today no headache and not so down on everything just i haven't played for days and go to play and no one is around so depressing lol :p

Will have to get on tonight so i can stab a few people with my broken knife and useless shotgun :D

Meh, EA have no one but themselves to blame. The sheer number of problems on release and the complete lack of testing when they release a patch is getting ridiculous. Just reading this thread you can see a lot of people are getting sick of the bugs and playing something else till they sort it out.
 
i can't settle on a gun as assault - grrrr

what do peeeps use, I'm a big fan of assault class, and like to use the 40m cannon addon for a few quick kills, i currently use the m16, but not getting the kills i get with it these days, what is your assault weapon of choice?

I switch a lot. I find certain guns are more appropriate on certain maps. If you're gonna be up close and personal, something with a high rate of fire and low accuracy would shine (f2000 either with MGNM AMO or make that thing a bit more accurate) longer maps the m16 or AN-94 are some good choices. I read that 4x optical zoom is a must to get used to, so I'm trying that out atm. Frustrating in some areas where I would've got a quick kill off, but I can see how it will become more useful when I become used to it.
 
ok cheers, i picked up a dead medic's gun and he had a 4 x zoom on a big rig gun, which was amazing, i took out 4 dudes before i died. how does the 'aim perk work' i have failed to see a difference so i just use the bigger explode per for my 40m shots
 
XM8 P at the moment - excellent weapon on Hardcore!
It's the best gun I've unlocked so far. I can't see why the F2000 was unlocked - it's crap. The XM8 should have been an unlock AFTER the F2000!
I find the XM8 more accurate than the Aek971.

the way i understand it is it allows the assault rifles to be more accurate from the hip (so abit useless really) the lmg one however is amazing.
i personally go for magnum ammo because i prefer to be able to take people down as quick as possible (although i may try the expl 40 mm combo now theyve nerfed the 40mm)
ive been using the underbarrel shotgun recently. man that could be awesome (its still pretty good) just needs maybe one more shot before it runs outa ammo (its great for sliding past a door and putting one slug into the room before wipping out the ar and machine gunning the people who are left), and id like it to be able to shoot down walls (although i was shooting a concrete wall with it and it didnt smash it down so maybe it takes down wood fine and not concrete)
 
I also tend to pick weapons/class based on the game type and whether we're defending or attacking.

Something like Valparaiso or Isla Inocentes and defending I like to be Engineer with RPG-7 and tracers with explosive and more rockets to keep the helicopters from buzzing around for too long. If attacking I'll go Assault or Medic with a m60 :) or XM8.

Whereas something thats more close quarter, building to building, room to room like Nelson bay (i think) I'll stick with Assault/Medic and a shotty like the SPAS 12 or SAIGA 20.
