I know..I know... ASS EXPENSIVE!

But I am passionate about gaming and love gadgets. $300 is a hefty price to pay but if these things are truely as good as they claim to be then I'll start saving ;)

So does anyone own these and can comment on how they compare to either stereo headphones or virtual 5.1 headsets?

Need one of these now, simply because its so damn expensive it MUST be worth it! Seriously where can we get these in the uk?
 
Someone posted user impressions on head-fi recently. Supposedly the directional aspect works very well but they suffer from severe sound quality issues and a weird artificial reverb / echo thing going on.

Basically they said very good for competitive gamers who must have an edge but dreadful for entertainment / immersion.
